Transfers: If you are unable to attend a programme or module due to experiencing symptoms of COVID please contact us as soon as possible. We will endeavour to transfer your booking to the next available course, there will be no transfer fee charged.
Method of Delivery: we may decide to switch from in-person delivery to virtual delivery at short notice based on both UK Government Guidelines for England and to protect the health and safety of our employees, Associates and Clients. We will notify you of any changes at soon as possible. We will provide a free transfer to a future in-person programme if requested. Please bear this in mind when booking any travel or accommodation as AoEC will not be liable to reimburse any loss to travel or accommodation costs.
Attending In-person programmes: we are following UK government guidelines for England. We recommend the wearing of a face mask or visor whilst in the venue. All our venues are following UK Government Guidelines for England and have put in place extra precautions to ensure your safety where necessary.
Disclaimer
Covid–19, often referred to as Coronavirus (“Covid-19”), is an infectious disease that can result in serious and potentially fatal illness. There is a risk of the transmission of Covid–19 in any environment where people come together. This risk increases in enclosed spaces and with increased numbers of people.
Upon entering the venue, you assume all risk associated with Covid-19 (unless in any way caused by the negligence of our venue provider).
You also agree to:
• abide by all government guidance aimed at preventing the transmission of the virus (further details of which can be accessed via the following link: https:// www.gov.uk/coronavirus); and
• follow all directions provided by staff members and set out on the signage within the venue.
You must not enter the venue to attend a in-person programme if you believe that you may have been infected with Covid-19. By entering the venue, you are confirming your agreement to the above terms and the following additional matters:
1) You acknowledge:
a) AoEC contracts with a third party venue provider to provide in-person programmes. AoEC has conducted reasonable checks with the venue provider to ensure that it has put in place preventative measures at the venue to reduce the spread of Covid-19.
b) AoEC and the venue provider cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with Covid-19 and you further understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by Covid-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of yourself and others around you.
c) that you have voluntarily attended the venue at your own risk and that in doing so you may be increasing your risk of exposure to Covid-19.
d) that you will comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending.
2) You confirm that:
a) you will not seek to bring a claim against the venue provider or the AoEC in the event that you contract Covid-19 unless you have reasonable grounds to believe the venue provider was responsible for its contraction through its own negligent act or omission.
