AoEC announces partnership with The Trusted Executive Foundation

As the issue of trust becomes ever more critical to the development of ethical leadership, Academy of Executive Coaching partners with John Blakey, author and founder of The Trusted Executive Foundation (TTEF) to deliver The Journey of Trust to organisations that are looking to deliver the triple bottom-line – outstanding results, inspiring relationships and a positive reputation in society as a whole.

TTEF is a not-for-profit initiative that is explicitly linked with John Blakey. His doctorate research on the role of trust in business at Aston Business School has informed the writing of his second book, The Trusted Executive. Published by Kogan Page in April 2016, The Trusted Executive has made a convincing case for the need to reinstate trust as the key driver for successful leadership through the development of the three pillars and nine habits that inspire results, relationships, and reputation.

John represents a new and authentic voice on the subject of leadership in the 21st century, and the book has gained considerable positive feedback from industry leaders and readers alike. It has recently been shortlisted for the Chartered Management Institute Book of the Year.

John Blakey adds "I’m delighted to link arms with the Academy of Executive Coaching to jointly bring the journey of trust to our clients. Having worked with the AoEC over many years, I know the organisation shares the values and ambitions that lie at the heart of The Trusted Executive Foundation. As many surveys show, there is a trust crisis in organisational life and this partnership is committed to helping leaders step up to this challenge and so drive results, relationships and reputation in a world where nothing can be hidden."

Gina Lodge, CEO of the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) commented “Our values sit at the heart of our organisation and inform how we work as a team, how we behave in society and how we treat each other, our programme participants and clients. We choose to be measured by these as much as by our business results.

Building trust is more than a skill, it’s a way of working to create sustainable change and what we hope to bring through this exciting and inspiring partnership is more capability-enhancing support to work with organisations on this transformational journey to becoming Trusted Executives.”
